Abby Smithson learned about electrolysis in search for a permanent hair removal solution for herself. The more she experienced different methods of hair removal; the more she realized that electrolysis was the only method that gave her permanent results. Abby now knows the benefits of permanent hair removal and seeks to share those benefits with others facing unwanted hair. With this knowledge, she decided to pursue a new career as an electrologist. Abby graduated from Eau Claire Institute of Electrology in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She is a State of Iowa Licensed Electrologist and is currently pursuing her national licensure (CPE) in electrolysis. Abby is also a member of the American Electrology Association (AEA).
Before owning and operation of Elite Electrolysis, Abby has worked in delicate and intricate settings for 16 years as a State of Iowa Registered Dental Hygienist. With her previous medical experience she has over 20 years of OSHA and CDC training in proper infection control and sterilization standards. Abby plans to practice and maintain both of her state licensures in electrolysis and dental hygiene.
